The second, public pillar of Kirpal Sagar is education. Besides the general schools K.H. Public School and the Kirpal Sagar Academy (together almost 1,000 students), it includes the Kirpal Sagar College. There future teacher for secondary education get their training.
In Kirpal Sagar there are also various workshops for learning craft trades as well as the facility for vocational training, which can best be described as in-service learning.
Either school or working in a company – dual vocational training, as common in the German-speaking countries, which combines both, is just unknown in India. This is a relic from the English colonial era. Nevertheless, Kirpal Sagar provides this special form.
