Projects with the Hospital

dry walls and rooms

The current bed wing of the hospital was built at the beginning of the 1990s, the current functional wing began in the middle of the 1990s. The area was filled with sand to protect it from flooding. At a depth of just under two metres there is a dense layer of clay which prevents the water from seeping away. In this way the water of the monsoon season can run under the building, where it is sucked into the building by the brick walls. The flat roof of the bed tract is a good 70 metres long. The strong fluctuations in temperature and the high UV exposure in summer put the building materials to severe use and allow them to age quickly. Also the rain drains and the roof connections are in need of repair, the roof is cracked. A roof reorganization is to bring improvement from above. The function wing was finished in the ground floor, the planned upper floor is still missing. Here the sealing is reached by the finished building, which is to take place later in a further step.
