local schoolclass 1 to 10
The Public School is located in the neighbouring village of Daryapur, where the western part of Kirpal Sagar is located. At that time, the community provided the property on which the Public School could be built on the outskirts of the village. The single-storey, elongated building has been gradually extended over the years and now offers space for all 10 grades. Unlike the Academy, Punjabi is the language of instruction here in order to keep the entrance hurdles as low as possible. Also the students of the Public School learn the two national languages of India, Hindi and English, and that already from the first class. Punjabi has similar words to Hindi, but uses different characters, so that three times an alphabet can be learned.
The syllabus includes the same contents as at the Academy, only the lessons end at 14:00 hours. This is very important for the parents in the country, because every hand is missing on the field or in the stable, which can not help. Half-day school is still justifiable. This also explains the phenomenon why school was often dropped out after three or four years in the past, even though the pupils themselves performed well. As usual in Indian schools, school uniforms are worn. About half of the pupils receive scholarships. The 10th grade is concluded with a state examination. With appropriate aptitude, it is then possible, for example, to obtain a higher education entrance qualification at the Academy.
